I only went to see Aviator because my nephew wanted to go and see it.

He liked it, Me not so much

It is very much a James Cameron film.

With regards to the whole Twilight thing, if it is indeed who they say it is

( spoilers maybe? though i am just waiting for my tomatoes to dry out so i can bottle them. ) 

So Apparently Angel has been moonlighting.

My reaction to this was shock, confusion, worry, confusion, annoyance, confusion (see a pattern), and now its just "O.K."

Still think it is a robot.

I have to apologise for not having this up sooner. Part of this delay was the heat, its 10.42 at night and it is still 31 C. It was 45 earlier. Also some RL stuff sort of manifested itself.

Screw you Network Ten, all i want to watch is Supernatural season five like YOU BLOODY GOSH DAMNED ADVERTISED and now i find out that you have dropped it for now.

Now i have to find out some way to download the episodes without it costing me to much and won't leave me with viruses and crap.
Any help in this regard will be very helpful.

I hope to have my thoughts on 'Conversations with dead people' up by the end of the week. I HOPE to, so don't hold me to it. It just needs to be typed and then thought through.

I really hope that my first few days of 2010 are not going to be indicitive of the rest of the year. I wanted maybe two things and both of them have been dashed already.

I have a thing for Robert Downey Jnr.

I have had this thing for a while now and it shows no sign of abating.

I also have a slight thing for Jude law. That one did wane a bit. I adored him in Gattica and eXistenZ but lately not much has tweaked with me.

This is going to change that.

I loved it. It is a jolly good romp.

It's name escapes me but it was the one with Paris Hilton in it. However I need to rant first. I need to express my annoyance. Last night at 8.30 I tuned to the network Ten expecting to see Supernatural as was advertised. Instead I got Stargate Universe. I was to put it bluntly unhappy about this. I wonder why though, why the reverse in the timeslots. The petty part of me thinks that maybe they didn't get the numbers that they wanted when it premiered last week and this is a way to get those who are waiting for Supernatural to watch SGU. Though it was more likely that the TV guides got it wrong. On SGU, I won't be watching it again. It wasn't the sex (sorry RC) it was the fact that i didn't like anyone nor did i feel any sort of connection to them. I don't need to like people to watch a show but i need to want to spend time with them. These are people I don't. The deciding factor was when one of the solder characters pulled his gun on the other guy because he asked for water after giving up his canteen to another military guy. I had all this stuff that i wanted to get done this week but various family members invaded and so not much got finished. Or started.

My copy of Angel Issue 27 arrived this week. Hopefully more on that later.

I went to see "Where the Wild things are", which i really liked. The kid who plays Max is amazing. And Catherine Keener is on my "I could pretty much watch her/him in anything." list. The only negative thing i can say about the film is not so much the film but the two women who felt the need to give their little commentaries at various points throughout.

Huh, Have they done something to the post page? I really need to start reading the newsletter more closely.

Sad news first, My turkey died this week. Her name was Brittney, named after Brittney Spears because well, they both are turkeys. (sorry to all BS fans.) She was a beautiful silvery colour. I think it was either her age or the heat. Everyone keeps telling me that it was expected but i tell you that it wasn't. Not for me. She survived two attacks by the same dog who came into my yard. Only to be done in by this, sighs

The Rush season finale was good. I hope though that they don't get Stella and Michael together. They are better as friends and Stella will just break Michael's heart. I hope it gets a third season, have not heard anything yet.

I watched White Collar which was good, no one annoyed me which is always a bonus.

I did give up Chuck. I wasn't as painful as i thought it was going to be. I will miss seeing Adam Baldwin often.

I'm pissed off somewhat because they are showing Stargate Universe on pay TV and starting this week on Free to Air and we have not yet seen the last two seasons of Atlantis.

Various and Sundry

One: The Christmas hampers have been arriving this week (and on that, really? It is NOVEMBER for goodness sake. Sighs.) and one of the delivery guys did something that i find really annoying.

Please when you ring the doorbell and i don’t answer right after you have pushed the button. DO NOT IMMEDIALLY START KNOCKING ON THE DOOR. I need to be able to get to the door and that takes time.

I just read that the Sci-Fi (or how ever they spell it now) channel in the USA want to do an Americanized version of Being Human.

Why, seriously why.

Did you not see how the American version of Life on Mars went down. Please just no. The Original is perfect as it is.
